KERALA HIGH COURT GRANTS INTERIM ANTICIPATORY BAIL TO ACCUSED IN ISRO ESPIONAGE CASE
1. Kerala High court has granted interim anticipatory bail to accused S. Vijayan and Thampi S. Durga in the ISRO espionage case for two weeks.
2. S. Vijayan and Thampi S. Durga were part of the conspiracy to falsely implicate, arrest and torture ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan for espionage.
3. Nambi Narayanan is an Indian aerospace engineer who worked for the ISRO and awarded with the Padma Bhushan award. In 1994, he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested but the charges against him were dismissed by the CBI and SC.
