DELHI LG ORDERED DELHI COMMISSIONER OF POLICE TO ARREST ANYONE UNDER NSA TILL OCTOBER 18

• Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has issued a notification which has given powers to the Police Commissioner of Delhi to apprehend anyone under National Security Act till October 18, 2021.
• Police Commissioner said that it is a regular order and police can keep anyone in preventive detention for a period if they feel that the person is a threat to the security and law of the country.
• This notification has been issued just to keep an eye on farmers who are protesting against three farm laws passed by the central government.
