AMAZON PROBES BRIBERY ALLEGATIONS IN INDIA

1. Amazon is conducting an internal investigation into a whistleblower complaint that has alleged bribing of government officials in India by some of its legal representatives.
2. A whistleblower within Amazon flagged the alleged bribery issues in its Indian operations.
3. Allegations that Amazon’s legal representatives bribed officials in India will be investigated, the government said today, stressing on a “zero-tolerance” policy towards corruption.
