TAMIL NADU ASSEMBLY PASSES ANTI- NEET BILL

1. Tamil Nadu Assembly has passed a Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Medical Degree Courses Bill, 2021 mainly known as Anti- NEET bill and this bill has been supported by all the opposing parties including All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party.
2. This Anti- NEET bill seeks a permanent exception to the state from National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
3. NEET is an India level entrance exam for undergraduate medical courses.
