CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CONSTITUTES A COMMITTEE HEADED BY ASHISH SHIRADHONKAR

1. The Central Government has constituted a committee headed by Ashish Shiradhonkar to develop a technological platform for streamlining revenue litigation i.e., matters related to direct and indirect taxation. This committee also have members from Revenue department, CBDT and CBIT.
2. Mr. Ashish Shiradhonkar is heading an E- courts project in National Informatics Centre.
3. Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta has informed the Supreme Court bench headed by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and M.R. Shah that the committee will complete its work within three months.
