UNION CABINET APPROVES LIMITED LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2021

1. Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2021, has been approved by the Union Cabinet with an aim to improve the ease of doing business and boost ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
2. Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2021, has been introduced in the Upper House by the Rao Inderjit Singh Minister of State for Corporate Affairs.
3. According to this Amendment, the number of compoundable offences will be reduced to seven and non- compoundable offences will be three.
