1. Punjab Advocate-General Atul Nanda sent a mail to his team saying he has tendered his resignation as his appointment as was co-terminus with the chief ministerโ€™s appointment.
  2. He had appeared in all crucial and sensitive matters for State of Punjab including the Reference of the President of India under Article 317(1) of the Constitution of India in the case of Ravinder Pal Singh Sidhu, Chairman, Punjab Public Service Commission, constitutional issues and those relating to the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act in the disproportionate asset case filed by Revenue and other authorities against Shri Prakash Singh Badal and several other matters.
  3. Atul Nanda was Additional Advocate General Punjab during the period 2002 -2006 and looking after the interests of State of Punjab in the Supreme Court of India.
