FIRST TRANSGENDER ADVOCATE BECOMES PANEL COUNSEL OF WEST BENGAL LEGAL SERVICE AUTHORITY

1. Transgender lawyer Ankani Biswas has been empanelled as an Advocate in the West Bengal Legal Services Authority.
2. Ankani Biswas is the first transgender person who has been empanelled as a lawyer in the Penal of Legal Services Authority.
3. Acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court Justice Rajesh Bindal who is an Executive Chairman of the West Bengal State Legal Services Authority has introduced the name of Ankani Biswas as an empanelled Advocate of West Bengal Legal Services Authority.
